In addition to the excellent results our herd achieved at the recently concluded Kimbrerskue, we have also invested in the future. We purchased the show’s best young Charolais bull: Hansesgaard Vodka (Chic x Tabelle).
His sire, Chic (UtrilloMic x Ursula), is perhaps one of the most underrated bulls in France. He is known for easy calving and strong vitality at birth. His offspring show a good balance between muscle and growth, which is also evident from the fact that Chic appears in the pedigrees of several show winners around the world.
His dam also comes from France. Tabelle (Mimosa x Mabelle) originates from Elevage Clame Aubouard, a top herd we have visited several times, and where Kristina has worked.
Mimosa is the full brother of Neptune JC, who was awarded the title of the best Charolais bull in France. Their pedigree includes well-known names such as Major, Bourgogne, and I Love You.
The genetics are therefore top-class, and being awarded the title of best young Charolais bull at the show also indicates that his conformation and temperament are equally outstanding.
We are confident that Vodka will be an excellent match for our herd, and we would like to thank Hansesgaard Charolais by Jan Larsen for the transaction.
