The herd’s oldest cow Bloksdal Jelana (Utrillo-BP x Bloksdal Elana -ET) from April 6, 2014, has had her ninth calf.
Earlier this week she gave birth to a live bull calf. The calf was born about three weeks prematurely and was therefore not too big and a little limp, but otherwise healthy. The calf’s father is our former breeding bull Tornado P Hvirring (Indou PP x Polka Hvirring P).
The calf will be number 440 and will be named Bloksdal Alene.
